Hi! I recently was given a 1997 toyota 4runner with 200,000 miles on it. A great deal came up where I can buy a 1995 g 20 coachman van (bed,interior lights, cd) in great condition with way less miles. Its a six cylinder though and my toyota was four. Should I go through with it? The toyota can't last much longer. Thanks!

I posted this question before but did not get the answer. I have a 2006 Toyota 4Runner and the 3rd brake light went out. It is on the top part of the trunk door. I do not have the wing, and cannot see anywhere inside the truck where to unscrew the bulb. The only thing I can think of is to pry the plastic cover from outside the truck. I was hoping someone can help me before i break something. Thank you.
Answer:Okay, you're on the right track. Under the tail light assembly, there are 5 fitting claws that hold it in place on the outside, you can use a flat head screw driver to pry upwards from underneath the bottom egde, disconnect the power from the tail light assembly, and remove the two screws from the back of the tail light assebly, the bulb twists out. That should do it, if not, let me know and I will try to find what I missed.

I've got a 1995 toyota 4runner, 4x4 v6, and when i start up and drive, it's fine, but when i slow down and stop, then pull forward again, it stays in a higher gear unless i manually shift it down to low then back up to drive. any ideas what's wrong?

Answer:It will take 4.8 quarts with filter. Update: The 3VZ-E V6 is 4.8 quarts, the horsepower is 150, the torque is 180 ft. lbs. Anything else you need to know. I have Shopkey software from my dealer that gives specs for most vehicles. Need info on the 4 cylinder also? I have that too.
